Problem Statement
• The GST law mandates digital compliance without the possibility of parallel comparisons on how and what to do.
• The current billing and ticketing system lack a workaround for GST compliance in the Indian scenario.
Solutioning
• Full-scale integration of all systems and processes to adhere to GST regulations, encompassing tax compliance, recognition, collection, accounting, and return filing.
• Studied and developed data extraction model from billing engine to encompass adequacy for compliance, accounting, MIS etc and thereafter and align it with GST regulations to make it usable for invoicing etc.
• Conception and implementation of an advanced invoice generation system, incorporating an invoice retrieval system, as well as debit and credit note generation capabilities.
• Implemented automated vendor portals for streamlined vendor registration and invoice submission processes. Enhanced functionalities included GST verification, seamless integration with company systems such as workflow and purchase orders, and automated financial and accounting entries.
• Implementation of robust data storage infrastructure and creation of a comprehensive data universe using Business Objects for efficient retrieval and analysis of large-scale GST data.
• Enhancement of integration and data to Application Service Provider (ASP) to align with latest government compliances and legal requirements pertaining to GST returns (GSTRN), including provisions for presumptive taxation, Special Economic Zones (SEZ), and other relevant regulations.
